The only drill I have ever burnt up is a dewalt. I have several dewalt corded tools that are men among men though.

Dewalt 20v stuff is so good I've never been tempted to try Milwaukee.
FWIW, I have about $10k in Milwaukee cordless tools for a reason. We beat the heck out of them. If it tears up I send it back and get a new one to replace it. Only battery issues I’ve had were the old 9.0ah and Milwaukee sent me new ones. I’ve got 15 or so 5.0ah batteries that are 5yo with hundreds of charges on them, zero issues. I do have some Dewalts but they just don’t hold up as well IMO. ToolUp, Acme, Grizzly, Northern, HD, Mann etc have combo kits, add the bare tools as you go.
Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn't go so far as to call a dog filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a dog's got personality. Personality goes a long way.

Do y'all with Milwaukee tools have issues with the chargers? I have had issues in the past but they have since been replaced and seem to work fine. The rep at Home Depot said it was my batteries but the new chargers work fine so I don't know if that was just bs.

For the money, quality and variety it's hard to beat metabo. Their triple hammer impact is the real deal.

That looks like the ticket... It doesnt have the saw but as much as I dont use the little one that came with my PC kit...it wont be a big loss.

Check https://www.directtoolsoutlet.com/ for a factory blemished or reconditioned one since you won't use it as much. They've normally got several sizes available.

I have ran Makita impacts, drills, battery saws and all for 10-15 yrs. Only had to replace 1 battery out of 30+ that I have. And no tool burn up. I use them everyday with my HVAC business where they get really dusty, put in standing water and dropped.
I run nothing but Milwaukee. 1/2” impact with 3/4” adapter and I can changed blades on Bush hogs. My next tool will be a 3/4” impact. The cordless M18 framing nailer is impressive.
Chatt James sells Milwaukee returns from Home Depot at the Greenville flea market. I’ve bought a bunch of tools from him
On the cheap and never had an issue with them. He post on Facebook tool sale too.
Makita is leaps and bounds above Ridgid or Dewalt. There is no comparison. Between Makita and Milwaukee it’s a coin toss
Milwaukee all day.
Been framing our house last few weeks and builder has all Dewalt stuff. Milwaukee framing gun was nailing faster than 2 Dewalt battery framing guns. Half way through the floor he went and bought a Milwaukee framing gun too. 2-3 batteries a day ain’t bad either.
