Good stuff man.
No doubt. We've been doing caught/shot, grown, and foraged (chanterelles) for a good many meals. I'll let the pros do the flour, sugar, and seasonings, but I can be decently self sufficient short of them.

Good stuff. I love meals that mostly consist of stuff I killed, grew, or foraged. It really makes you appreciate the food.
When little bro was still little, I'd make a big deal about cooking really quick anything we killed or caught and called it a celebration of the kill. Brings home why we do what we do...instead of just glorifying the "kill", make it come full circle.
We still do. Nothing much better to me either.
