Tell them you want to hunt with Landon Hearns

Slick's is always a good choice.
F**K Cancer
Just Damn.
A lot of the guides out there have switched to speck hunting, but damn that’s a lot of decoy and blind work for 2 trigger pulls. Slicks is great, and there are a lot of people trying to do it right. Remember that you are trying to plan ahead/set dates to kill a bird that will fly 500 miles on a whim. DM 1 kills a lot of ducks because A) he’s a good duck hunter B) he hunts good places and C,D,E,F) He has TIME.
Call the recommendations you get, and find someone that sounds like a person you will get along with on a slow day. Lower your expectations and enjoy the hunt and experience. Arkansas can be great, but it isn’t magic. Enjoy your trip, don’t wear Banded waders, and don’t shop at Mack’s.
Them that don't know him won't like him, and them that do sometimes won't know how to take him
He ain't wrong, he's just different, and his pride won't let him do things to make you think he's right
They don't put Championship rings on smooth hands
I'd go late in the season.
I don't go in there, because I don't need anything else and I don't feel like dealing with crowds ... but why shouldn't someone shop at Mack's?
To the OP, Stan Jones Mallard Lodge, Lost Island, if whoever bought Big Slash Ducks and Bucks keeps it a guide service there, 5 Oaks if you want to spend some money. All of those places will give you flooded timber hunting and it's pretty consistent.
Thanks for the input.
Keep expectations as low as possible. Like under the water low. Go for the experience and camaraderie and you will have a good time 100% of the time.
