    Default Pigeon Trap

Can anyone recommend one? I was looking at this one from dogs afield.

Just this morning I was at a gas station (beside a greasy spoon) and there must have been 150 pigeons feeding between the buildings. I asked the owner of the gas station if he minded me putting out a trap and he said no problem. He said they have been feeding those pigeons for 5 years.

I have read that when you set the trap you should leave the doors open for the first couple of days and then set the doors around the third day. I plan on using the same feed the owner has been using. Any other tips or tricks? Are permits required for trapping pigeons?

You could use a dove run type trap. It has to be on the ground. It is effective and very easy to make. If you don't know what this is and would like some info on how to make one send me a pm.

Once trapped, what is the best way to keep them alive? I will only have the trap to store them in. Feed and water daily I suppose?
