Default North Santee River headed North?

How far have you ever traveled up the North Santee from Georgetown? How skinny does it get?

I've taken it all the way to Alvin before. It gets kinda skinny in one stretch before Jamestown and then again around Alvin.

Just wondering how far I could go up river from GT. We use to bow fish the Santee there at the dam, was wondering if I could get that far. Might just get in the boat one day and ride.

From hwy 41 to the Santee dam would be trouble.

Not sure how fast I would go. Of course, I've only been down the river from Wilsons maybe half a mile and that was enough.

Yep, we have had to walk the boat back to Wilson's before.

I would not take a big boat and watch out for those St Stephen’s boys. Maybe watch that movie Deliverance before you go.

I haven’t been that way this year, but I would listen to Catdaddy.

It gets super sketchy up past Wee Tee.
Be proactive about improving public waterfowl habitat in South Carolina. It's not going to happen by itself, and our help is needed. We have the potential to winter thousands of waterfowl on public grounds if we fight for it.
