    Default Mountain Buck

He came cruising through at 4:50, shot him at 40ish yards, he stumbled and died about 20 yards from me. My first mountain buck.

No camo, blue jeans, and a FF hat. I killed it about 400 yards from the house, so my wife and son drove over to take a peak at it.

Some bonus ducks from the weekend died as well.

You are done for the weekend now.

    Stay home and watch football…

That is a fine deer! And nice work with the birds.

    Awesome!!!!
“Duck hunting gives a man a chance to see the loneliest places …blinds washed by a rolling surf, blue and gold autumn marshes, …a rice field in the rain, flooded pin-oak forests or any remote river delta. In duck hunting the scene is as important as the shooting.” ~ Erwin Bauer, The Duck Hunter’s Bible, 1965

Great deer. Did it cross the property line as it stumbled down the hill?

Nice deer, and plenty of duck... now put your feet up and with some duck breast treats and a cold one.
