    Something similar to this might have already been posted. But without getting too off topic about raising your kids, there are resources out there, like the video below on YouTube university, that with minimal effort and research, you can learn to butcher your own deer. Good luck to the OP.

    I read the original post of this thread yesterday afternoon and immediately called my processor to make sure he was taking deer. If he had said no, I might not have even hunted and if I did, it certainly would have put a bias on what I decided to shoot.

    Deer processors still seem like a relatively new thing to me even though I've been using them for as long as they have been in business locally. We didn't have that luxury back on the olden days. I've cleaned my share of deer and actually enjoy it....when I have time. I keep my schedule busy and usually prefer to let someone else clean, cut up, burger and vacuum seal my deer so I can do other things I enjoy more.
