It makes a difference if you ever travel outside of SC. It’s been awhile since I bothered checking on it, but don’t mist/all of the Open-Carry States only allow it for residents? That’s where a CWP can come in handy.

I'm for "Constitutional Carry" just because I believe in the 2nd. However, part of me is still against it because there are several idiots I would never want to be around while they had a firearm in their hands.

If I comprehended it correctly it is still only for “concealable weapons” and if SC still defines a concealable weapon as any weapon 12 inches or less then I’d say You can carry any weapon that is legally considered a concealed weapon. But, I could be wrong.
