A 11-48 in 12 use to not bring much on resale, but with people going crazy that coulda changed. It's just another 12ga to most. A 16, 20, or 28 can bring some coin to the right buyer, especially the 16 and 28. Depends on options and condition of course.
My fave bird gun is my 11-48 in 16. So much so I had Briley thread the barrel for thin wall chokes, so I could shoot it more.
Mine is the smooth barrel, and I gave a little under $300 for it 15 years ago. Remington offered a ribbed barrel and they are pretty sought after cause they seem to be few and far between. But even without the ribbed barrel, in good shape its worth what someone is willing to pay of course.
$400 would be my minimum asking price, possibly higher depending on condition. They ain't making any more of 'em.

Delta in a nutshell: Breeding grounds + small wetlands + big blocks of grass cover + predator removal + nesting structures + enough money to do the job= plenty of ducks to keep everyone smiling!
