While we should all be for preventing any and all acts of terrorism, both foreign and domestic, we can do so without giving up essential liberties. As we have seen with the Patriot Act, the government doesn't always believe this to be true...

Terrorism is a pretty ambiguous word that can be molded to fit almost anyone you want to persecute.

Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn't go so far as to call a dog filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a dog's got personality. Personality goes a long way.

Now that the swamp is only partially focused on trump and trumpism, they have more time to go after liberty, freedom, and conservatism.

makes you think about all the military actions we as a country, or a political party, were so quick to support against people the government classified as terrorists with very little to no supporting evidence (WMDs!), similar to the president's alleged incitement of violence. Too bad those that have been calling BS on .gov lies for nearly 20 years will suffer right alongside.
“If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen.”

^^^ Good points. It is amazing to think the lengths that the US went to fight the spread of socialism after Potsdam. From SE Asia to killing Che down in Bolivia. All of the lives lost and money spent, only to realize that while we were strutting around the globe with our big stick, the socialists were busy right here infiltrating our schools, our media, our military, our churches, hell everything. They flat kicked our asses and we never knew that we were in a fight...

Not true, they've been flat out telling us what they were doing for decades but we've collectively been saying that will never happen here. Well, never is here now.
