    Today was a bust.
    Saw 200 birds in an open pocket of water yesterday. They did not come back today.

    All the little water is froze up.

    Watched 5k ducks on a dry feed this evening...just across the line in the early duck zone, season closed there but was cool to watch.

    I try to take my son on a trip of some sort every year, this year I gave him the choice of 2-3 days guided or a week on our own, he chose the latter
