Be sure to get one of these hitches
My wife and I hauled a unloaded trailer back 30 miles at 50mph
And came back with this trailer which bags about 150 bags at 48 mph

The truck didn’t even know it was there
The trailer being able to float made all the difference in the world.

Again same motor mine is a 250 body
I do have headers and a tuner but I wouldn’t get excited.

    Stock would have done that.

I’ve had a GenY for a while now. I hate towing without it anymore.
Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn't go so far as to call a dog filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a dog's got personality. Personality goes a long way.

I have 2 of them and agree

    I have 1 on the 150 and the 250

    Bad ass hitches.

    Well worth the money

It’s hard to convince someone who has never had one or doesn’t pull much to pay that much but if you actually tow you realize they are worth more than what they ask for them.

Apparently it is a big deal to have a non blue logo on a Ford product but they did it for the Godzilla if you got some package??

    Meh what ever

    Love the truck

    It’s a beast.

I feel like I’m driving KIT from knight rider in super pursuit mode with all the buttons over head.

But the best part is the sun roof

Oh the joys I have got from driving down 95 and flicking idiotic drivers who don’t know how to drive off

Had one guy pull up beside me and want to take pics he gave me his card at 80 mph this was back in may when I first got it and not many were running around.

    Cool guy
They were coming back from lock down in Florida heading back to Va
Asked could they photo me so I held the speed the went forward backward then pulled up beside me and gave me his card
    Yup, he's crazy...

SW338, are you running 93 octane daily?

Any empty highway mpg numbers? I know it’s considered stupid to talk mpg on HD trucks but I have a decent commute and don’t want multiple vehicles in blocking my driveway.

    I’ll answer later
    But mine does get muddy

    They suck in reverse

    That is my only complaint

There ain’t no diesel tuned or not that will hang on 95 over 85mph

They have no up keep a oil filter is 8$
    A fuel filter 4$

They eat super cheap gas and hall ass

    With huge amounts of power

I have a super charger on order

Not sure if I will put it on or not

    I may sell it.

    The power is
    Scary already.

That Whipple Super Charger isn’t meant for truck applications, you’ll blow that thing up.

Interested to see how much better it is tuned over stock. Stock’s pretty stout.

    You will notice

The super charger in reference isn’t built yet

    Hence the wait.

I had had the truck almost 3 months before the headers were put on

I have given driver intel to said 2 supercharger groups

The idea is to keep them for a truck.

    It will happen just watch.

    Let me back up

    This isn’t a political debate

    The truck is one hell
    Of a machine

Salty ha a beautiful truck and I can’t wait to hear how it works out for him.

I’m to blame in this thread for taking it that way and I apologize.

I have tried my best to learn
Through out this crisis to do that one thing.

I haven’t posted much due to that on a daily basis.

    I’m very proud of how
I treated folks and learned and worked with them more so than usual.

I’d argue that all of us on here that post all the time are narcissist and generally revolve around our own world.
You can argue and that would support my position

I disengaged and learned so much more about folks during my hiatus.
I respected and worked with folks but when it came down to making sure they had actual toilet paper you realize we are all human.
Should we all be so fortunate to own a new truck toy or widget may we all
    Share
It with our beloved or hated group depending on what day of the week it is.

I took those tacky FX4 decals off. It looks a lot better now.

Can a chrome bumper be sand blasted and painted? The way I was going with the truck, color matched bumpers weren’t available unless I spent the $4k on the Sport Package.

When I bought it was the height of the crisis

    I wanted a Godzilla with 4:30
    White

They were desperate to sell anything at the time

The sports package you refer to was actually less due to the travel time to go get it

Times were different in March and April

Some of us took advantage of it

But to answer your question I’m not sure

I would have been happy with the chrome but to meet my requirements they came up with this and for less money

    It was freaking awsome

The only hang up was some camera stuff that was broke and they couldn’t get parts

They fixed 95% of them but I still have a back light busted (you can’t tell it other than water) and the over head back up is in and out

That thing is a God send backing a small trailer down a decline

It goes in and out at will

Everything else they fixed as the parts came in

Best truck I’ve ever owned bar none

    I’ve had a whole lot

Ford got this right and met the customers demands

And everything you cited is why I got it

They nailed it out the park

Terrific balance of ease to work I.e. service, usability, and power.

It’s a old school push rod motor easy work space and motor parts

With new creature comforts for the family

My daughter loves it over her mother’s car.

It’s grotesquely loud and proud but something about it makes me smell America when I fire that baby up every time.

Salty I was told no on the painting a chrome bumper. Wanted it done on one the tundras I owned.

I love color matched as well, but if I ever have another one that is I will put PPF on it.

My gmc looks like it has 100k miles on it from driving I26 6-7 days a week. I’m starting to appreciate chrome again.

I cannot think of the name brand at the moment but it’s a paint type deal that you could paint spray on and it lasts a year or so. Then you peel it off and spray it again if you want to change the color.

You were driving down the interstate side-by-side with another vehicle going 80MPH while literally handing something to one another and you’re calling others on the road idiots? Seems a little hypocritical.

You got to under stand the circumstance. No one for miles and miles during the shut down, verses idiots who just came out on the road who never drove in their life and thought it was a good idea because the gov paid them to do so.....or allowed it.

It was a different time back then.

I could make it from Eagle Pt to 52/95 in basically 35-45 min. The cops would wave as I would roll by at 90 plus. Those were the good old days!

It was strange wild and freedom.

    Thats how it should be.

Your assuming it was back to normal, it wasn't back then.

You would drive down 95 with no one I mean no one on the road it was creepy.

I drive it many a night at 3/4 am, I have never ever seen anythignlike what I witnessed. During the hurricane maybe a day or two, this was weeks upon weeks.

    It was wild.

I was living at the lake with my family and driving back and forth to Florence every day, and yes being tested by the way.

But the driving part was bizarre wild and almost scary for a while due to no one being on the road but the occasional trooper.

They would lead the way and I would follow or vice versa.

If you were not there on a daily bases or drive it you will never understand.

So don't start to think you some sort of genius.
