Pretty dog
My grandfather was convinced the "gallon nippers" (Gallnippers) carried a set of various drill bits for different situations. I remember him remarking that he didn't remember when he was younger having to worry about mosquitoes biting through clothes. He was born somewhere around 1926.

I remember one year when I was just beginning to bow hunt, I decided to give it one more try on January 1st. It was unseasonably warm and the mosquitoes were out. I had on leather cape skin gloves and had my release clipped on the string the whole time in the stand. I'm not really sure if I actually was in a stand or just straddling a limb. When I got back to the truck after not getting a shot, I pulled off my gloves and found that I had two solid whelped stripes down the back of each hand where the mosquitoes had drilled down at the sewn seams of the gloves and bitten me.
