Can you weld?
I have some basic welding skills, stick and mig
Took two semesters at Tech that was paid for by an employer.
At one point I was fairly competent at setting up a machine and laying some decent looking beads in a horizontal and vertical position.
Never done it for a paycheck and really don’t even enjoy it all that much. Occasionally I’ll weld something small around the farm for Dad and that’s really it. The mig machine I have is a cheap one and that somewhat limits what I can do
Are you recruiting workers?
Yes
Stick, Tig, MiG all positions
9 toe nails in a stud to a plate sound good? 4 missed..
Enough to get something through the day.
Everybody thinks they can weld- until they really have to weld. Real welders know what I'm talking about.
If you are building another bumper for your Ranger, no I’m not certified in welding cardboard

Yes, I have my {R} stamp. Certified in every process.
Learned the basics when i was 11, I’m 34 now and still welding. I do a lot of code welding, inside reactors. Xray weld for chemical plants. I use mirrors occasionally. Mainly on tie-ins, in a trench.
Here is some of my recent work, where I could have a phone.

No....but I have one on speed dial.
Correction...... 2 on speed dial, lol
I feel pretty confident there’s not many of my kind on here. Or at least they don’t talk about it. I usually don’t flaunt my shit, but you asked......
I’d love to learn the trade and art of welding. I can make two pieces of metal stick together with my little mig. I moved the axel back on my trailer and had to weld new spring mounts to the trailer. That was 7 years and 10,000 miles ago. I use to worry about the losing the axel on the highway. I don’t think about it much any more.
That's nice DropEm. I can do just enough to be dangerous from my years in a maintenance shop.

Been welding going on 30 years. Haven’t done any code work in years and prefer to keep it that way. Lol. That’s some good looking work Dropem. You worked at any of the Duke nukes?
