    Default 2020

I feel bad for the deer this year. As bad as 2020 has sucked so far, I’m itching to tip something over. I usually shoot one or two a year, but right now, in this exact moment, I’m planning to use all eleventybillion tags I get sent every year. That is all.

I’m sure they will find some reason to limit the season or cancel all together.

After new years you need to bring Jake down to my club and let him work over some of our 78 billion tree rats. I’ll do the cooking.

You got a deal, might even let Proner tag along as well

After paying $5 a pound for hamburger I’m gonna stack them like cord wood. We’re over populated. I’ll pack them on ice and grime them Myself this year.

Mosquitos will be found to carry Covid19.

You can go tip things over now if you got hogs.
Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn't go so far as to call a dog filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a dog's got personality. Personality goes a long way.

same here. Im thankful for deer burger this year. We would have spent a killing during all this mess if it hadn't been for venison. I wish id put one more in the freezer last year

I’ve still got about 60 lbs of ground and 15 lbs of sausage from last year. Only a couple loins though. They look fat and healthy this year.
When it comes your time to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with the fear of death, so that when their time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way. Sing your death song and die like a hero going home. -Tecumseh-

I have not really hunted deer in years. They have decimated my garden and the sunflowers on our dove field this year. I fully intend to use those tags this year. I expect the overall deer population in SC will take a big hit this year statewide.

Been calling coyotes at night. Haven’t done it in 5 or 6 years. Having no issues locating. Just haven’t been able to talk them into giving up just yet. Played rabbit the other night just to see how it went. Had a curious bobcat come by. Wasn’t much bigger than a squirrel, didn’t pull the trigger. Cats are fun the watch and make Perdee mounts when they’re big.

And speaking of deer, I dusted the ol summit off yesterday for the first time in 2 or 3 years. Plan on getting my freezer full this year, also got board and planted some clover and rye in the woods.

First year back in state in 7.5 years. Got 2 farms that haven't been hunted but 2 or 3 times a year. Deer are about to die
