Visor,
As busy as you’ve been lately and not getting to hunt much, if you need me to go sit some of those stands and take inventory of some deer, I’d be willing to help you out
Somebody needs to

That's my experimental "quick hunt" field close to the house as you can tell by the lazy man's golf cart trail all the way to the stand....
That particular plot is planted in Pennington Deer Greens (mix of brassicas) at 10# /ac with Diakon Tillage Radish added at 8# /ac... Conventional drill in chisel plowed, harrowed and dragged seed bed and was planted on Oct 6...2 tons of Hi-cal lime and 750# 22-11-22-2s-1mg /ac.

Yeah, the plot looks great, but I’m more impressed by how close he was able to plant to the power poles.

“… duckhunting stands alone as an outdoor discipline. It has a tang and spirit shared by no other sport—a philosophy compounded of sleet, the winnow of unseen wings, and the reeks of marsh mud and wet wool. No other sport has so many theories, legends, casehardened disciples and treasured memories.”
--John Madson, The Mallard, 1960

Take him.
