I’ll be happy to help thin the “food plot buzzards” come April!
That’s just terrible.....
I’m not sure how that’s a problem.
Wild turkey is a damn fine meal.
Be proactive about improving public waterfowl habitat in South Carolina. It's not going to happen by itself, and our help is needed. We have the potential to winter thousands of waterfowl on public grounds if we fight for it.
Just a little side note....if you want one to eat be sure to shoot it in the upper neck. A 30-06 right in the breast will wreck everything. I might know a fella who was wanting a turkey dinner round mid December back in the 90's and attempted to take one off the roost. 30-06 centercut off the limb....complete waste.

In what world would someone think shooting a 10-20lb animal with a 30-06 be a good idea?

Ole boy gotta eat!
I’m not a turkey hunter but why don’t they allow you to take any hens? Seems like there is a 10:1 ratio hen to gobblers at least at my place

I know I’ve said this before on here but I swear deer and turkey don’t like each other at least on this piece of property. I have had my camera out for probably two months and do not have one picture of them out together. Maybe it has something to do with the food plot size but these turkey are out every morning and every afternoon with no deer in sight. Getting plenty of pictures of deer when the turkeys are not in the plot.
It’s insane the amount of noise they make.

A few years ago I had a pic of a turkey underneath a deer,
it was pretty cool
