Not everyone is a chef. A recipe is merely guidelines.. recommendations if you will.
I have made some damn good chili with left over chopped Boston Butt. No Dat. Venison is always the # 1 protein for chili. Best chili I ever ate in my life was in Texas and they used Axis Deer.
F**K Cancer
Just Damn.
I don't care for beans, of any sort, in my chili
I have one sauce pinned down that was given to me years back, the guys short hand. That thing has traveled with every wallet I have owned. It's just one you dont really talk about or hand out, it's not crack or anything..
It's cool most of the time until I try to explain to my wife how I make something, her and I are opposites. She likes preciseness.
what did 2th do to you?
A few things I have added that help make a turd.
1. Burnt ends. I buy a pan of them from Lowe's grocery. (and if you haven't shopped at a Lowe's grocery then you are missing out!)
2. Sliced kielbasa or Italian sausage.
3. Dried peppers. I have ghost peppers and jalapenos that I grew, dried, and put into a grinder. This allows each to add as much heat as they want and I am not screwing up a pot for the rest.
