A true Gortex rain coat in brown camo is your friend.

I got tired of getting wet.
Be proactive about improving public waterfowl habitat in South Carolina. It's not going to happen by itself, and our help is needed. We have the potential to winter thousands of waterfowl on public grounds if we fight for it.

Some shitbird stole mine out of a parking garage in Charleston by popping the window out of the hardtop on my Jeep in 1986. I am still pretty mad and hope that whoever it was has found Jesus after having a long run of Aids.

I do still have my original MO Bottomland real GoreTex Wigeon. I treat it like a crown jewel...

I have a rivers west eider in the trading post somewhere. Put it on and stand in the shower. You won’t be wet underneath.

I like a grease coat but they are too damned heavy for me. I bought a Sitka Duck Oven with a Delta rain coat. I have yet to get cold or wet.

I just managed to stumble on an original, made in USA Mcalister wading jacket. I also have an old greased up filson 437 wading jacket.

I have a problem wearing any jacket with a hood that's not detachable. I feel hoodies are borderline to people wearing sweat pants in public... an no I dont own a pair of sweat pants.

Men that are concerned with the weight of shotguns and coats are generally no threat to waterfowl......

I wear light clothes and shoot a heavy shotgun. Where does that stand?

I have worn a large smattering of waterfowl coats , the only one you would have to pry out of my dead hands is the original Mcalister wading jacket and that includes the Columbia Gortex offerings of old and new.

I have seen one of our members damn near freeze to death while wearing Sucka, meawhile I was warm, dry and toasty in the Mcalister and wool sweater beneath.

It’s like saying you like dudes, but you’re not the catcher.
