Simpson - Childers 2020......
\"I never saw a wild thing feel sorry for itself. A small bird will drop dead frozen from a bough without ever having felt sorry for itself.\" <br />D.H. LAWRENCE
i think he's played the worn out voice more on this latest album and that song.....it works for him.....he's a better story teller than singer.....plenty out there like that.....he's a cool mf'r.....could sit on the river bank and listen to him and his tunes all night
talked to him for just a second last night, it was a quick thanks for playing....he was at some downtown charlotte botique-esge/polished floors venue and it just wasn't the same as being in a bar with can beer....this place had last call at 830 and beer was $6 min...we did get a copy of the new album early and had him sign it to bil for his birthday...set list too....the wife's got a good collection now
seeing tyler in december....the simpson/tyler tour could be interesting....i just can't get on board with sturgill's latest yet....tyler's shows have been the better of the two too.....both draw a particular hipster mix though
Happened to be in Denver for work earlier this week and I had the pleasure of seeing TimmyTy Childers at Red Rocks w/ Town Mountain and Robert Earl Keen. I've been seeing Tyler for many years but Monday night was a very special occasion, still riding high from it.
Here's a clip of the encore, footage ain't that great:

"some men are mere hunters, others are turkey hunters"-Archibald Rutledge
Them that don't know him won't like him, and them that do sometimes won't know how to take him
He ain't wrong, he's just different, and his pride won't let him do things to make you think he's right
They don't put Championship rings on smooth hands
Cody johnson...Simpson is too far out there
"And ignoring people on here....that's like being home schooled. Just say you're not ready to face life." Highstrung
Aaron Boyd has some pretty good stuff also.

Always been a fan of Craig Morgan and his earlier stuff. This one is about his son that died from drowning.
going to be pretty cool seeing CJ at the top of the charts with 2 different albums on back to back weeks
Stumbled Across this kid Zach Bryan yesterday and looks like he is following the Tyler Childers folk/country path... really good stuff. He is also active Military while trying to do the music thing. Gods speed to him.
