As a local Capt/Crewmember, I have a few things to say...

I heard this whole thing go down on 16/22. Funny your not calling them "Tuna Rings" Anymore huh? I`m gonna say BS on the 12kts per hr/ NO F`IN WAY. When the Coast Guard asked The ring Commander was the Pen lit & someone (from the Hefe) said yes, it`s ALL RECORDED. I`m gonna say BS on that too, you`ll hear it again in Court.

Before the Fish bit, you guys bit hard on the "go ahead & catch 2" Wondering why??? So the Gun Boat could get up to you, DUMBSHIT. Your Lucky the Coast Guard helped out, if you had a brain, chances are they would NOT have. Life & Property is all they have to protect, Not foolishness.

You`ll be dealing with Frank & SAC, rest assured. I`d be more worried (physically) about 200+ angry Crewmembers, that are only working 2-3 days a week. This includes, but not limited to Boat Owners, Captains, Deckhands, Cooks & even the Bunk Crews. I wouldn`t park your Truck (or Prius) anywhere near the Docks if I were you.

Wanna know the "kicker" ??? One of you guys were actually Foolish enough to post pics, including Fillets. ABSOLUTELY INSANE. Intelligent people learn form their mistakes, not continue to make them, as in Fishing in the Pen &posting Fillet Pics.

Good luck around the Docks buddy, specially the guys in the pics. You just FUCKED THE ENTIRE INDUSTRY.

I think the industry is screwing themselves. The "industry" will be more than happy to see the bluefin go the way of the passenger pigeon so long as the Japs and the rest of the world continue to pay huge bucks for their sushi.

The bluefins hardly have a chance.

exactly. This tuna farming bullshit is awful for the population of tuna.

as far as the story goes, its a good one, but the guy is a dumbass. Watch where your going, it doesnt matter if you have a big boat or not, you still have to abide by the rules of the ocean.

Oh yeah. Me and that fella there would be fast friends.

"I know, lets do a bunch of dumb shit, take pictures of it all and write up a big story and post it for the whole world to see!"

Sounds about like dixiedipschtick and the rest of that Charleston centerconsole crowd of know-nothings that do idiotic things and then post it up on here in hopes of inspiring awe of their fishing prowess.

    Not likely.

Fish, in your always hammering on people kind of way, you've been quite eloquent in your description of a lot of those on "Charleston Punters.com" Funny as hell.
