“… duckhunting stands alone as an outdoor discipline. It has a tang and spirit shared by no other sport—a philosophy compounded of sleet, the winnow of unseen wings, and the reeks of marsh mud and wet wool. No other sport has so many theories, legends, casehardened disciples and treasured memories.”

Nice of them to throw in that "Very Hot" description for you.
Dry heat. Hahahah.

Common sense is not a gift. It's a punishment because you have to deal with everyone else who doesn't have it.
I love summer and fishing but I love pulling the trigger on some birds too!
I've got some more fish to kill before the fall but you better believe I'm ready.
Summer is my jam. Cold weather sucks! I just duck Hunt to pass the time until summer! I’d be fine if it never got below 65 all winter

It was 72 degrees outside when I shot ducks for the first time in Laguna Madre. I came out of my waders early that morning.. I had a Filson featherweight shirt on, shorts, and barefooted.. with a cooler of ham, cheese, and avocado sandwiches, plus coronitas. Heaven on earth I tell you
I'm enjoying the heat at the moment. Summers go waaay too fast. Now Feb-April is a looooong freaking time!

I hate this heat. For those of you who like it, you either have nothing to get done or you are a twisted individual.
Who in heck signs up for sweaty ballsacks and swamp butt?

I prefer the summer myself. Spring and fall are nice, but just a few weeks of moderate temperatures ain’t much of a season. Winter sucks.
I have just as much fun during summer than I do in winter.
Summer - shooting sporting Clay's tournaments
Winter - hunting feathered creatures.
Heat has never stopped me from doing anything. Heck, after outside work yesterday, I teed off at two in the afternoon and played 18. I'm trying to make time to head down to the farm and pick about the rest of our silver queen.
