Reports look pretty grim. Prayers...
Prayers for everyone out there.
As if that wasn't bad enough, reports are saying barges are loose and threatening one of the dams on the Arkansas River. Sheesh...
Damn

This is bad!
Yup, he's crazy...
like a fox. The dude may be coming in a little too hard and crazy but 90% of everything he says is correct.
Sort of like Toof. But way smarter.

So, I posted about these barges at 4:42am this morning. They had known that the barges were loose the day before actually.
They hit the dam. Luckily, the dam held.
You are telling me that in 2019, we cannot figure out a way to stop 2 floating barges that are threatening to destroy at LEAST one town, not to mention the flooding impact from there to the Gulf.
What the hell is wrong with these people? I can't think of but about 10 solutions off hand that would have a pretty good chance of working and just landing a chopper on them, setting charges, and scuttling them yesterday only has about a 100% chance of working.

Lack of thinking in this world extends far beyond tying up barges!!
Bet they pay attention next time....
Or ahead of time....
I mean if you told the drunks at Station 5 during the Duck Run 10 years ago that 2 barges were headed down to take out the dam, I would give those barges about 30 minutes before they out of the floating business.
My BIL just moved offices from there back to near Kansas City.
Better him than you...
Yep.
You will have to ask Duckman, KCH, or Patten...
