that was just a quick search, but if you are denying that the entire football world had anointed 2018 Alabama as the greatest team ever, you are either lying to yourself or were on an island with Wilson for the last 9 months.


You admitted that Saban lied when he said it was the most complete team, well.....so did everyone else.

I think that the world was just astonished that Bama had finally mastered the forward pass, and it hung'em up.

The entire football world thought so, including every rational Clemson fan. I had an Iptay supporter called me at the half and said Alabama was still going to beat the crap out of Clemson.

For the record, had McKenzie Milton played in the bowl UCF would have destroyed LSU.

I was at the game on Monday. I had free tickets- in the dead center of the Alabama Section. As a Clemson Fan- I have never been so deep in enemy territory.
Before the game - the Bama fans that surrounded me certainly thought they had the best team in the History of the World. They were very nice people- but they were very strong in their convictions that BAMA 2018 was the best ever and they were happy to dissect all of Clemson's weaknesses. As the game progressed- 3 things happened. 1. They starting comparing their Jimmy's and Joe's to Clemson's Jimmy's and Joe's- stating that Clemson was better. 2. They started fighting among themselves as one Bama fan would disparage Saban- other's would disagree- some of them almost fighting. 3. They started leaving at the start of the Fourth Quarter.

Thus- the Bammers around me were 100% certain they were going to win and 100% certain Bama 2018 was the best team ever.

I had a blast!
