Don’t remember you posting it, but it may be one of my favorites I’ve ever seen you post. And you’ve had a bunch that were ya know...Okay. Excellent shot!
Mallards in the timber and Cans in the open water are awesome. But a wood duck and a ring neck never get old for this SC boy. Nice picture!

Great picture, as always!
I leaned against a pine last night and watched 15k pile into a Clarendon County impoundment.
They are F-15s in tuxedos. Man I love those little birds.
Be proactive about improving public waterfowl habitat in South Carolina. It's not going to happen by itself, and our help is needed. We have the potential to winter thousands of waterfowl on public grounds if we fight for it.
so thats where all the ringos are?!?!
Ugh. Stupid people piss me off.
Folks wouldn’t believe me if I told em how many ringnecks were in Clarendon County.
50-60k would be rather conservative. And that’s just on 3 impoundments I’ve seen personally.

Colleton County ain't slacking on the ringnecks either, was at a friends farm near Donnelley the other day and he was holding a good 20-30k in his impoundment

I participated in a study last week where we caught, banded, and backpacked 30 ringnecks.
Keep an eye out for the antennas!
