    Default Murray Report

Fishing has been quick and consistent, almost the entire month of August. Limits of fish are being caught early morning and late afternoon every trip for me this August. Fish are found in the "big pool" off the river channel or on humps in 65-80ft of water. Live herring or jigging spoons will do the trick. With college football and school starting most the crowds are beginning to get off the lake, so now is the time to catch em. The Striper forum needs some life, so lets get it going.murray.jpgmurray2.jpgmurray1.jpgmurray3.jpg

I'm ready for cooler weather and getting them fish back on top water. Won't be too much longer now.

lol. I don't like to "fish" for fish, I want to "catch" and eat fish.

Man that was a fun morning too!

Could a person catch any if all he did was vertical jig a spoon?

Fished yesterday afternoon and had a box full again in just over an hour. A lot of fun on the BP spoons.
