I’m thinking about adding a 2018 Ford F-250 Gas Guzzler to the herd.
What’s the goods and the bads?

It’s a 2018 and new. What’s there to think about?

If love could have saved you, you would have lived forever.
Missing you my great friend.
What do you gain by buying a gas 250 over a 150?
"This is My commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you." John 15:12
"Strive for peace with everyone, and for the holiness without which no one will see the Lord." Hebrews 12:14
I got one new last summer has been a great truck. Regularly tows 24 ft enclosed full of parts. No complaints. You gain the ability to see the road and not the sky when towing a heavy load vs the f 150
It was a serious question. I realize now that it came off as snarky.

All I know is the 2500 with the 6.0 and tires on it does good to pull itself...so gm would be out of the picture
"And ignoring people on here....that's like being home schooled. Just say you're not ready to face life." Highstrung
After a year of 10mpg , you could of justified the price for the power stroke.
I have a 16 Stroke I’ll part with
More fuel = more boost!!
Do you have to take the cab off to work on it?
Love mine. I get roughly 13 in town and 16 on the highway, towing it's about 11. Mine is a 2015 CC 4x4 with 430 gears
Reloaders love a good piece of brass
Not only did Samuel colt make all men equal.....He also made it easier for me to sleep well at
night
My work truck and about a dozen others in the fleet have the 6.2. It’s Been a great engine for us. I get 10mpg on 33s no matter what kind of driving I do though. Mine is a 2011 and no issues so far.
Edited to say a shift solenoid was replaced under warranty. But that was the only power train related problem.

"Eventually, all things merge into one, and a river runs through it. The river was cut by the world's great flood and runs over rocks from the basement of time. On some of the rocks are timeless raindrops. Under the rocks are the words, and some of the words are theirs.
I am haunted by waters" Norman Maclean.
Thank you, gentlemen.
I will stick with the after 2014 to present 5.3/GM direct injection power. It is awesome and good gas #'s to beat. Last 2100 on the GMC avg. is 18.7/mpg and that is pulling a boat and back and forth to Newberry Tennis
Gettin old is for pussies! AND MY NEW TRUE people say like Capt. Tom >>>>>>>>>/
"Wow, often imitated but never duplicated. No one can do it like the master. My hat is off to you DRDUCK!"
I have a 2013 F350 4x4 CC 6.2l with 4.30 gears. It has 127,000 trouble free miles. I get 13 city, 17 highway, and 10 towing. I would never get a diesel unless I towed often and heavy. I love my truck!
