Ive got four gates that I would like to install combination locks on. I would like to be able to change the combination when I like. Anybody got any they recommend?

Masterlock makes a pad lock with combination on the underside. Very simple to change the combination when you want. I've got several on trailers and konnex boxes, the seem to hold up well.
What about a lock box like you'd put on a house during construction? They have the sliding cover for the number dials and you can change the combination in about 5 seconds.
We have the kind jaco mentioned on a gate at a property I hunt and on a storage trailer at work. The rubber cover for the numbers come off easy and more than once I've seen them very difficult time turn the dials.

Use these a lot with no problems. I think this is also the one Jaco was referring to.

If you have any problems with locks, get the Mexican who fixed the trailer plug to stop by.
I have some of each of the ones pictured above. The heavier duty one is not my favorite. The combination has to be set to close it and as mentioned. I always spin the dials when I open the gate to keep someone from checking it while the gate is open and learning the code. The less substantial ones shown work fine but you need to test them vigorously when you close them because they don't always lock securely unless you spin the dials. You need to put a can of WD40 in your truck to keep them working.
Agreed. WD40 is a must to keep almost all locks that stay outside working properly.
I take the lock and put it in the truck when I take it off and put it back on when I leave.

what Swamp Decoy said. We have used the same locks for over 8 years.
I’d look into something that is not so friendly to bolt cutters.
Someone cut our lock off our hunting property in Richland County, and put their own lock on it, and have turned it into their own place. My mom and her two sisters own the property, and none of them care to do anything about it. I quit going, because I’d end up shooting someone or get shot.
Just fyi one of those masterlock 175s can be opened with a piece of shim stock very easily.
