"Eventually, all things merge into one, and a river runs through it. The river was cut by the world's great flood and runs over rocks from the basement of time. On some of the rocks are timeless raindrops. Under the rocks are the words, and some of the words are theirs.

Have fun. Should be able to get one. Not sure where your area is or if it is area restricted, but the area around Pinedale is loaded with them.
More Ducks, Less People
Congrats, good luck and enjoy.
Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn't go so far as to call a dog filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a dog's got personality. Personality goes a long way.
You might take out a dozen before they drag you from your home and skull fuck you to death. Marsh Chicken 6/21/2013
There's 999,999,999,999 of them in Wyoming. Have fun
Yeah I’m headed to Douglas this year to hunt them
I’ve hunted this unit before. Killed one on BLM last time I was there. Paying a trespass fee and hunting private this time. Been waiting for a spot to open up on this ranch for several years. One of the last large ranches to off DUY hunts in NE Wyoming. They take a very limited amount of hunters, and once you get access it’s yours as long as you want. We were lucky. Gas and oil companies and big outfitters have tied up most access in the last several years. There is a good amount of public, but it’s landlocked. We’re accessing about 70000 acres for a fraction of what a guided hunt costs. I hunted all around this ranch last time I was there.

No issues killing one then. You can kill them at the airport. Look for a good one for a few days and pop him.
What is the Super Tag Trifecta? What month are you headed out?
I beez dare 1st week of October myself. Mulie and speed goat.
Landowner tags?
Congrats. That's about as relaxing of a hunt as they come. The only thing I didn't like about my Wyoming pronghorn hunt was the meat. It was almost inedible. And yes, we cleaned and cooled the meat as quickly as possible- it wasn't a handling issue. It was simply a nasty tasting goat.

Awesome. A bucket list item for me.

Mmmmmmmm sage.........
Right. But it only tastes good when applied to the meat from the outside.
Meat from the last one I shot was fine. If they are rutting hard it's strong, otherwise all I've had was pretty mild. I was a long way from the truck when I killed the last one. Boned and packed him out then put it on ice and the meat was fine. They do taste and smell like sage. Everything in NE Wyoming does.
