What it appears to come down to is that, technically, you could grind up enough clay pigeons and mix it with bait and cause some serious liver toxicity, which could/would eventually kill them.

I didn't say it made sense, unless you could get all the scrap pieces from a clay pigeon factory or something. And if you mixed it up in a bait that hogs liked to eat you wouldn't have to shove it down their throats, now would you? Damn...

It's all a moot point anyway since like Meathook said, the formulation has been changed to make them 'eco-friendly'.
