What is the best low light scope you have actually ever hunted with?

Anyone run the vortex 3-12 X 56 illuminated? I'm all for top end glass, but my budget wont often allow it. Incidentally PA is having a sale on them this week, mount included for $299 so I have one in route.

What model is that exactly? Crossfire II Hoghunter? I can't find the info on their site?

^ gotcha, that is the Hog Hunter model with parallax at the front obj. Old design but works none the less. Not a bad deal at all for what is it partner. Vortex has pretty daggum good Customer service as well. Don't think you will go wrong with it in that price range.

Gotta see at dark which one your eyes like, Zeiss Diavari 8x56, Schmidt and Bender 2.5x12x56 for me. I have rolled the dice many times with both at dark 30. Can't say I like one more than the other.
