Default Public land access to shoot self thrown clays

Is there any public land you can set up a personal trap and get some practice in? Enjoy sporting clays but at $40-$50 a round, cant afford too many of those.

You could go to Boggy Head or Twin Ponds. Just have to catch it on a day where there isn't anyone shooting rifles or handguns. It is a rifle range.

Delta in a nutshell: Breeding grounds + small wetlands + big blocks of grass cover + predator removal + nesting structures + enough money to do the job= plenty of ducks to keep everyone smiling!

boggy head and twin ponds prohibit skeet shooting- if the us forest service people catch you- they will write you a ticket.

Partridge creek gun club in Ridgeville on hwy 78 allows guests to shoot- they have regular skeet and trap ranges in addition to sporting clays and regular skeet is a lot cheaper to shoot- bring cash, they didn't take cards last time I was there

also- the Charleston air force base has an on base skeet range- you can shoot there with a military member or retiree very cheap

PC allows guests to shoot only with members. They are no longer open to the public.

Paper targets only per the sign, I know someone who got a ticket after he shot a can someone else had left at the twin ponds range.

Also don't be that guy that shoots clays into the ponds in FMNF.
