Thanks for approving this, Mergie. I wasn't paying attention last night and didn't mean to put it in the announcements forum.
This is the same tournament I posted about last year, I shot it and I think one or maybe two other scduckers did as well.
Great food last year and good targets so I would expect the same again.
I may be able to make it. I just need to see what my schedule looks like as the date gets closer.
Non-registered I assume?
It's possible. For me registered shoots take priority. Let me look at the other shoots on that date.
Shoot with Jim yesterday at rocky knoll. Said it was nonregistered shoot. HOA is a Mathews bow. Not sure which one. Said they had several other prizes. Should be a good shoot for a great cause.
Yep I was in double seater ranger. Rider. Was sitting at wheel when we were at station one talking dove fields
It was a good shoot last year. Will be doing it again.
Sounds like good time. See what my schedule looks like

Who benefits from this shoot and is it Tax deductible? Station sponsor get any targets or just the name at the station? 4 man teams?
RR,
This is the best I can explain it so please bear with me.
Ironman outdoors is the main benefactor from this shoot. From my understanding the funds are used to help sponsor some of their outreach programs (they own land/retreat centers where they offer affordable outdoor and hunting opportunities for guys to come together in a Christian based atmosphere to experience the outdoors and grow in God. I can not speak as to whether or not it is tax deductible and I am unsure about sponsor package benefits. If you look at the very bottom of the flyer there is a contact person and number. He is a very good friend of mine and if you call him he should be able to answer any questions you have. If for some reason you have trouble getting in touch with him (which you shouldn't) let me know and I give you my personal guarantee that he will be in touch with you.
Ironman is a 501 C3 operation and runs accordingly. Sponsorship is set up exactly like a golf tourney would be and you get a sign at a station. 4 man teams but they will match up singles on the morning of.
People will shoot anywhere from a 40 to 90+. It is a good time and you get to see what Ironman is all about if you are not familiar. The NWTF facility is jam up as well.
