X2 There's some really nice trails and waterfalls. Its where a lot of "the last of the mohicans" was filmed.

I assume you are tubing the green river. I have been down that at least 15 times. My suggestion is to just do a longer section tubing trip on the Green. You can also zipline at a place called the Gorge right above the Green river.

We always enjoy a quick walk through Hendersonville to let the wife shop and we'll grab some lunch. A few good options. Tried a new one to me recently called "Never Blue". I liked it. Duck wontons were legit.

Sliding rock will be a memory for a 7 year old. I did it last year at 55, so 45 should be good.

We might try to make that fit in.

Just saw the forecast. Should make for an interesting travel plan...

Bradley falls is legit not too bad of a hike. Looking Glass falls and looking glass rock are also pretty easy hikes for a kid. Black Balsalm knob hike would be doable if you don't do the loop. Side Street pizza in Tryon is pretty good.

Nice finds! You must have paid for the supreme bucket. Beats the heck of the gems my kids have "mined" in the past but the always had fun.

I never knew megalodons made it all the way to the mountains. I dove many times on the Cooper years ago and have a sack full of teeth in the basement.

Ah...Sliding Rock. The closest I've ever been to death. I was probably 10yrs old and almost drowned because, at that time, there was no control of folks going down. I went to the bottom and folks kept piling in on top of me. Couldn't get to the surface. I'll never forget it and will never do that again.

Sliding Rock is closed right now due to high waters.
