    Default 2500 crew outfitting time

Because I must tweek everything I own. Just picked up a 2500 ltz last week.....doing some research on them...so those that have them or have had them..couple questions:

    - if you want to level did you crank factory torsion bars or should you change out with new 2 inch keys and add shock extenders?
    - what tires did you run.....my truck has factory 20s which I am keeping...want at or a hybrid at...looking at bfg at / Nitto Terra / toyo rt right now.....with those huge wheel wells I am assuming I am looking for a 34/11.5/20 ish tire to fill them up but do not want to trim a bunch of crap

Any other mods suggestions.....gas engine 4wd

I turned my tb's up about 1 inch, just enough to clear 275/65/20 Goodyear Duratrack's (34x11x20). They are on the stock wheels. Turning the TB's causes the ride to suffer, not bad but enough that I eventually want to do new control arms and get it back to the factory ride. Do not max the bars out b/c they will bottom out when hitting bumps and it will knock your fillings out of your head. The Duratrack's don't last long and for that reason, I'll probably won't be getting them again. They will pull in the mud but for the money, so do nitto's.

Look into having it tuned by black bear performance (no affiliation). They can make those engines really purrrrrr.
I take an PLB in the shower with me. Can't ever be too safe.

Whats it like to live w/o the Internet? Not bad, I get photos of your mom thought the mail....

After going down the same road you are on several times... I would drop the shade tree mechanic ideas and not go cheap ass or half ass.
I would take it to KRT for 4" lift and run the sized tires you mentioned

It amazes me that people buy such nice trucks and do the half ass shit to them. Be original... Pick your own shit out and don't do it half ass. You get what you pay for.

I've tucked 35's with a leveling kit and extended Bilstein 5100 shocks. With the factory offset you have to do the large fender mod. They won't rub fender but they will rub sway bar at full lock with +18 offset

Easy there fellas.....I simply want to take the front rake out and then run whatever the biggest tire I can without cutting shit off a nice truck.

I am not looking to sky jack it and run 37 s aon 22 s....nor am I interested in dropping $1-2k to replace the suspension in a truck that doesn't need a new suspension. Leveling trucks in not shade tree in my eyes.

And Kevin you need to open a damn upstate location.....

Yep. Go Nfab,Magnum, or AMP. Only thing about Nfab's is the fact if you wear boots you can't get them thru the hoop. You have to step on them partially.

I really like the the Kelly Safari TSRs I got from Kevin.

I'll have to look at the exact mileage from when we swapped them out, but they've got between 10 to 15K on them and they still look brand new. They don't make noise and they ride very smooth compared to the POS BFGs that were on it when I bought it.
