In six seconds the terra cotta would be resting on terra firma, you should look at autos. I know you hear all the guys joshing around believing they can shoot their pumps just as fast as an auto. I assure you they're constructing some fast shooting guns now.

I agree. This is good info and will save time in the future.

I called Walmart and they set back two cases of bismuth high brass 6's for me.

Glenn, how do you sleep at night after all this. It's all fun and games until someone thinks there is useful information here.

To correct the record, Dan Carlisle is not related to anyone that shoots at Rocky Knoll. Dan is an Olympic silver medalist in Trap and is a past Sporting Clays National champion.

    Harris Springs is no more.

River Bend is now a private club so unless you know someone they probably won't be welcoming you in unless you open up your checkbook.

Clinton House is probably a better club for 3 gun than it is for sporting clays.

Belton Gun club is really coming on strong with their sporting clays course. In fact I will be there this Saturday for a tournament.

Rocky Creek is probably the best gun club in the upstate. They are having a big shoot 2/13 which includes an oyster roast.

Backwoods rules the roost in the lower part of the state.

Hermitage Farms in Camden is a very nice facility.

Rocky Knoll has the nicest bunch of guys you'll ever meet.

The NWTF facility in Edgefield is becoming a top notch facility but caters mostly to the SCTP and 4H programs.

Live Oaks is still a good solid gun club although not very big.

Blackriver in Kingstree is a nice club. They have a circuit shoot on the 27th of this month.

    That about covers it.

    Thanks for correcting me.

I used to shoot at Rocky Knoll on the regular and somebody hald told me that and I believed them. If I'm not mistaken one of "owners" name is Bob Carlisle. Must be a running joke at the club or something of the sort

Yall forgot about the Spartanburg Gun Club right there in Glenn's backyard.

I was a member there about 15 years ago.

They may have upped their standards since then.

    Thanks man.

Yes Belton is a private club but very reasonably priced. When they have tournamentsome all members of the NSCA can shoot the tournament. To join the NSCA is $40 a year which includes a magazine.

Spartanburg gun club has upped their sporting clays course as mentioned. I need to go back there soon as I won 400 targets on their last tournament.

It's Bob Carwile. Great guy and a hell of a crow killer, just not related to Dan. They do nothing but joke so it doesn't surprise me.

If you are in Spartanburg, the Spartanburg Gun Club. You can also do it for free at the Gaffney Public Range. PM me for details on any of it... I heard Yeti was making a new 25 quart skeet carrier. May be useful to you... I'm trying to get one for free.

Does he have skeets there or do I need to bring my own? I'm willing to split a box if somebody wants to meet up.

I also have a hand chucker I can bring.
