Democrats have always voted against minority interests they just don't get called out for it by the media. More proof that it's starting to catch up with them...

He could but at this point he keeps racking up endorsements from that voting block.

Many of the old timers like to work.

    Trump likes folks to work.

Obama got elected on a wave of enthusiasm for the first black president declaring free everything.

Not only did he fail on that promise he made it harder for the black americans that wanted to work to keep a good paying job.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Trump carry the black vote

Y'all think Trump is really crazy and or stupid. He's actually a genius.

He might make a stupid mistake at some point but the last seven or eight that the media pronounced as the final nail in his coffin were nothing but nails in a taller platform.

Alot will happen in the next 60 days. Trump is loved by the most, but he is also hated by the most. As the other candidates drop out, the other candidates will pick up more of those voters than Trump. It will be a completely different ball game after Iowa and NH.

Coming from an hardcore conservative: The GOP right now looks like a 3 ring circus. The field is too deep and the candidates have too much contrast. it confuses everyday people. The majority of voters do not study politics and will go off of what friends and the boob tube tells them. A vast majority of them are one-issue voters and will support a candidate that they may not agree with on 99% of other issues to support their cause. Obama was a great marketer. The DNC did an awesome job of how they handled his nominations. If you look back on the simplicity of the design and how well thought out that campaign was ran you can see why he won. Don't get me wrong - I hate him - but they put on a much better show. They brought the potentials to a secluded meeting area, told them who was going to run and made them all play nice. Then they announced BHO with the Hope and Change campaign, flashy logos, simple message, etc. The majority of folks don't care. The youth will vote for the "cool factor" and candidates with the most socialist reform (80% recent college grads) others will choose social issues like abortion, religion, taxes etc. and not really know the impacts of any of them other than what they want to hear or think at the time. Then you have the racists. We lost almost every bit of the black vote to Obama. People don't realize it but a good majority of blacks believe like conservatives on many topics like LGBT, religion, family values, etc BUT they will not vote against their color. Which goes back to my comment on 1 issue voting.

The GOP has a problem. They need to regroup and focus on what's worked in the past to get it fixed. Fast.

I am not convinced of that (yet) but I do not believe it is out realm of possibility. The one thing that Trump has revealed is many calling themselves Conservatives have no idea of conservatism and are not aware we have a Constitution. Their votes are self serving just like Democrats if not more so. Depressing.

The latest SC poll has Trump up 8 percentage points. From 30% to 38%. Doesn't sound to me like Trump is done as the thread predicted. Seems like the people of SC like tough talk and don't like political correctness. The establishment is in utter panic mode. They will not be able to control him like the rest of the pack.

That's the problem with trying to predict the future. It tends to treat you very much like an assumption might.

Just saw on both networks that his poll numbers today are the highest they have been. The dems are answering the phone poll calls in the privacy of their house too. Fear and just enough of the same old political bastards and money lobbying is driving it. America wants change now and these cats are going to get out and vote for him
