The James C. Kennedy Waterfowl and Wetlands Center at the Baruch Institute of Clemson University is hosting a waterfowl and wetland wildlife workshop. This program is intended for biologists, managers, landowners and practitioners to learn effective and ecologically sound techniques for managing South Carolina Lowcountry wetlands for waterfowl and other wetland wildlife. The morning will be spent learning basics of waterfowl, wetlands and management techniques. The afternoon session will be field tours and on-site discussions of various management practices and techniques. The combination of lecture and field study will provide participants with the opportunity to ask specific and detailed questions to the speakers. The workshop is limited to only 40 participants to allow for more interaction between participants and speakers, thereby allowing for a more personalized experience. The anticipated agenda follows:

Continuing Education Credit: This program has been approved for 7.0 hours – Category 1 CFE credits through the SAF. Additional certification may be available at the participant’s request. A certificate of workshop completion will be awarded to participants.
