Default Good Bye Home Phone -- Hello Axvoice

    http://www.axvoice.com/unlimited-promo.php

Kinda like a "Magic Jack", kinda not.

ATT is hitting me for $43ish/mo. for VOIP service through my Uverse.

My wife "has" to have a more reliable phone than her cellphone due to working for a hospital and being on call; she claims the pager rarely works, but they rarely actually page it.

We have a Verizon network extender, and I say it's pretty reliable. Yet, I don't use the phone much, so who knows...

Anyway, for $150 to get me up and running, I'm done for the year. After this, it looks like it'll be $99/yr. and we get to port our number over, too.

I reckon the stuff should show up next week. I'll post back after I get it up and running.

I've tried to get her to drop it for YEARS but she just won't let it go. She honestly can get fired if she doesn't respond to being called in.

I have a home line but couldn't tell you the number. Haven't had a phone plugged up in 3 years. It was cheaper to package cable internet phone vs just cable/internet.

We ditched cable. I've got a nice remote controlled HD antenna mounted on the eve and we stream Hulu, Netflix, and Amazon Prime. So, no Glenn, no VHS here...

I paid for a new line up here, we ditched a land line some years back. As you know, the cell sucks here, but I have to keep up with alarms.

I ditched Bellsouth a couple years ago and now use Ooma. I think it's like $3.75 a month to pay for the taxes. The Ooma box cost me $100. Ported my home phone over to the Ooma service.

A lot of good quality porn was on vhs. The quality can get kinda hairy though at times.

I've worked for both telephone and cable companies. There's a lot of aerial lines out there with both of them. Many times it depends on where you live. Older neighborhoods and inner cities were all aerial whereas newer ones are all underground. Plus upstate areas with lots of rocky soil are hard to bury lines in so there are lots of lines on poles there too.

But Arrow Head is right. As far as reliability goes nothing beats a POTS line.
