Had a meeting down in Tampa Bay yesterday (working on a good airport buzz as we speak). On the drive down to St. Petersburg I must have seen 10,000+ divers. Mostly Blackheads w/ a few Cans visible (Hard to say at 70mph)....what I'm wondering is wtf we aren't seeing #'s like this in SC. They were spread all the way across the Bay (3+ miles) and on both sides of the bridge as far as I could see. Everything from singles, small groups and bunches of 100+. Why the hell are they bypassing SC? The folks that I've talked to the hunt down here have been limiting on most mornings...wtf is the matter w/ SC? I hunted Wednesday morning and didn't even pull the trigger (although I passed on at least 20 mergies). This is by far the worst duck season I've ever had...seeing all these ducks in Tampa Bay just frickin kills me.......
