    I put in for a drawing at Santee Coastal for The Cape. Anybody ever hunted it? How well is it ran? I've Hog hunted it a couple of times but never duck hunted it.

    Hunted there once. We killed teal, shovelers, widgeon and pintails and it was run real good. It is hard as HELL to walk in that damn mud and if you hunt when it is hot that monkey will get on your back and not come off until you ar e at the truck.

    It's historically been the worst one at SCR.

    We've hunted there twice. Lots of blue wing teal, with a decent mix of widgeon, gadwall and shovellers.

    We hunted the Cape on opening day last year and there were plenty of skeeters, 'gators and heat - but no frost!
    That the Tiger's roar may echo.....

    Squatty420 you better check the records,Cedar island is the worst.It always has been.Last year the Cape was number one,or at least as good as Murphy.

    Me and my fellow "green pants" crew would say that it is a toss up as to which is better- the numbers would tell you definitively but just checking week to week they run close together- good mix of birds and damned good numbers.
