Im still recovering from the shock to the wallet from last years hunt. It will be a few years before I apply again...

It did get expensive last year getting a gator. So I applied with a "no draw" option to start building points up again for when I recover.

I can't believe I used to get disappointed when I didn't get a tag. Even more.....I can't believe I used to get excited when I had 7-8 friends with tags. Fuck a gator.

But, the boy wants one. As long as he makes honor roll for the year, he gets an application. Under my name...even though he is a lifetime license holder, he cant apply until he's 16.

I live in Sumter and got zone 1

Kind of the same situation here. Drew a tag so my son can kill one.He's old enough to get his own tag, but I had the points and he didn't.

I don't care if I ever kill another one. The first two were exciting as hell and I'll be glad to help anybody that wants to go, but no more cleaning them big nasty creatures if I can help it.

No tag, but have boat and can travel if any of you guys that get a tag have boat issues. Never been and want to go bad.

Been there, done that. If you've done it once you've done it a million times. Not much to it. Yal have fun.
