    It's bad out there.

    Four of my friends lost their homes and everything they owned on Sunday night/ Monday AM in the Broadview fire.

    We have all the ground level and overhead irrigation running. Hopeful that it will be enough to keep us from burning. Lots of sagebrush and other ground fuel. The USFS in their infinite wisdom has a moratorium on control burning. That policy is really working well ..

    Thanks to Grant County fire and assisting agencies, this fire is contained.. It appears that we are spared from any damage.

    Someone was listening. Going to be a long, dry summer. Hate for yall's food costs to go higher.

    This link covers the fire story from Sunday/ Monday in town..

    Tinder dry conditions and high wind, one errant campfire.. whoosh!! Four of my friends lost everything they owned. 28 homes burned to the ground. Industrial complexes damaged and hazmat situation still ongoing.
