    Default Idaho this far

I am about to head back to rubberhead land next week. Moving back to Charleston for a few months. I thought I would let yall see a little bit of our season since my last post. Also, I have to brag a little bit. Ace is almost 16 months old and has already picked up close to 150 birds this season. I couldn't be happier.

Thats it, i'm leaving the tumbleweeds of OK and heading to the tumbleweeds of ID. Appears there are(were) a few ducks in that state.

Well they damn sure aren't in New Mexyco right now...

Hey Wes. The first 5 are from the "lake." It is frozen now. We have had some unseasonably warm weather and thought it had thawed some. Made the trip to look at an ice rink with some geese and swans sitting in the middle. Those early season pictures I posted were all from the lake too. Its a fun and beautiful place. Im hoping to come back next year at some point before it freezes.

There are almost no ducks around here right now. Im hoping this cold front is going to bring a few birds with it. I would love to get one more good hunt in before having to leave.

I am pretty jealous. Looks like you are still having a good time up there. Are you coming back for good or you heading back out there?

Im not sure. If I am going to come back, I need to have a much better employment situation lined up. I will hopefully end up staying in charleston until next fall and then relocating to an area with a few more fowl.
