Taped out at 13' 1" and weighed 732 lbs. We fought him for about an hour before we were able to finish him off. Then the real work started, trying to get him in the boat.

Yes, as big as he was we took him into to Cordrays.
Thats a grown one! Good job!
Damn what a gecko.
Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn't go so far as to call a dog filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a dog's got personality. Personality goes a long way.
You might take out a dozen before they drag you from your home and skull fuck you to death. Marsh Chicken 6/21/2013

Wow, that is a good one.
Ha....I went to school with John P.
Be proactive about improving public waterfowl habitat in South Carolina. It's not going to happen by itself, and our help is needed. We have the potential to winter thousands of waterfowl on public grounds if we fight for it.
Nice lizard.
That second photo scares the ever loving crap out of me. I know it is a green tractor and all, but with no one in the cab and the hunting party standing under a raised bucket it just makes me cringe. One busted hydraulic hose or a cylinder with a bad O-ring and that would be a very bad outcome.
Wow what a lizard. So how old would that thing be?
No way to age an alligator, they grow according to their habitat.
But for reference a buddy of mine that works for the state was telling me of a 12 foot alligator killed last year near South Island with a tag. This particular one was tagged in 1970 and was 9 feet then. It took that particular one 43 years to grow 3 feet.
Damn that's a big gator...I just picked mine up.. he only weighed 400lbs and I about had a heart attack at what that cost ... good luck man!!
