Jap Millet Planting Rates

Starting to figure out what to plant when and where this year for ducks. How many pounds per acre do y'all plant Jap millet with a spin spreader. Seems like the price is much higher than in year's past, and I am trying to be a little more efficient this year. Thanks.

12-15 lbs. per acre is all you need.

Thanks. That's what I have been reading, but it just seemed sort of light to me for some reason. I am probably not going to plant any until mid August, but I want to go ahead and get a game plan for all the areas I want to plant.
