But why do you need one if you have your conservation permit?

No soup for me either. Mail runs late over here so there is still a chance.

Never heard this 800 permit crap. None of the 6 of us that went to the meeting together has gotten ours yet.

I went to the second meeting and had to fill out one of the note cards. Then they sent me a formal slip in the mail which I had to return. I still had the permit by Monday this week.

Might be worth a call up there to see if they will issue you a permit at the office or something.

Buddy said that DNR didn't work tues and weds due to weather. If they cant get the permits to you in time to hunt, they should send u an email with a number or something on it that you can print out. Seems to me it would have made more sense to do that anyway

I t is not limited to 800. They completed the forms Mon but mail did not go out on Tues and Wed from DNR mailroom.

I do not have mine but my kids do. They attended the Monks Corner training.

Hope it arrives today or tomorrow.

The mail room at DNR is manned by state employees. They had both Tues and Wed off. I imagine they had to copy, fold, address and stuff envelopes. It appears they got started on Thursday so I would expect to get them Fri and Sat.

Did anyone who attended Monks Corner training not receive their permit?

DNR says all were mailed out by Thursday.

Gas up. Get shells, contractor trash bags, net, waders, earplugs, first aid kit, wearable life preserver, safety glasses, tweezers to pull pellets out of your forehead, binocs, bandages, ...

Carolina King(at Jacks Creek) is giving a dollar off for every commorant brought in and they will dispose of them on their lodging.

Sounds like a good deal, since their rentals start at $80.00 per night.
