    Default An Observation

The drop in the SC duck population ,imho, was mostly caused by a downward migration shift of the Ontario mallards into the Mississippi flyway years ago. I've seen that happen twice in my life time(61 years) and I thought it would never reverse.

I'm not to sure now. I think we may be seeing a reversal. If it truly happens, it may be good for the next 7 years or so.

I could say more but I've got more decoys to get out of the attic.

Worst year ever. I wish everyone would wise up and save their gas.

The things I see happening in my part of the state leads me to believe we haven't seen nothing yet. Give it a few years.

Cat, you say you believe you have seen it twice in the last 61 years...What years would that be? Any guess as to a reason behind it?

No I was referring to the previous years when he was talking about seeing the migration shift.

When you're as old as some of us, it's nice to see it shift.
