Video: Man Catches Trout with Bare Hands, Real or Fake?



Real or fake? That’s the question revolving around a recent viral YouTube video showing a man diving into a lake and retrieving a trout for dinner—with his bare hands.

In the brief clip, a bare-chested Douglas Owens emerges from behind a tree like a pale sasquatch and asks his wife (who is behind the camera) what she wants for dinner. When she says a rainbow, he dives off the bank, disappears under the surface for a few moments, and emerges with a healthy-sized fish clasped with both hands.

Maybe he had the fish ready for him underwater...maybe Owens just has the mad skills of a salmon-catching grizzly. Watch the video, and let us know what you think.
