June 15th -- Stillhouse Cove Floatilla (Wateree)

This event had many sponsors last year and the year before; I think they've picked a different cause every year; not too sure of this year's donation.

However, June 15th, Lake Wateree -- the first cove south of the old "Sailing Club", there'll be a huge party with a DJ and a band or two. I've helped cook BBQ the past two years, but our "chef" has had knee surgery, so I'm not too sure as of yet what will be served. It'll either be BBQ pork or chicken, I'm sure.

I'll post more about details later as I find them out.

It's always been a great time before. I think we saw over 200 boats come/go into the cove last year.

The "meal" is on a donation basis if you wanna eat. Drop some coin in a jar or don't; that's up to you. However, you're more than welcome to come by, drink some of your own beer, and listen to some good music and take in the scenery.

Just an update from the hostess:

Looking forward to seeing everyone at the Flotilla on Saturday 2332 Horton Lane in the back of Stillhouse Cover. Around 12:00 bring your swim suit, byob and small side dish - meats provided! Lets have some fun and live music!

Worked up there yesterday some. I think food will be at noon. The DJ should be around that time and the live music will be about 1300. Gonna wait until the stage moves into the shade.
